The ten representatives of HAMC at the Service of Thanksgiving

The Mayoress, flanked by hungry Tenors, thanked the Choir for their contribution to the Service.

A small group of Harrow Apollo choristers lead the congregational singing for the Service of Thanksgiving at St Alban’s Church, North Harrow on Sunday 25th March 2018. The act of thanksgiving was for the service to the borough of the choir’s patron, The Mayoress of Harrow , Councillor Margaret Devine. Prayers were said by members of the Harrow Interfaith community at the service led by Rev. Kate Tuckett, Vicar of St.Alban’s. The Mayors of Brent and Barnet also attended, together with Councillors of the London Borough of Harrow.

At tea, following the service, the Mayoress thanked the choir for their contribution to the service. As it was also the anniversary of the Mayoress’ birth, the choristers sang “Happy Birthday” to her.
