Proud to be part of our local community and at the invitation of our patron, the Mayor of Harrow, the Harrow Apollo Male Choir supports the singing at the annual Remembrance Sunday parade at the Civic Centre Harrow. A number of our members are veterans and all of us who attend do so to pay respect to those who defend us and in grateful remembrance of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Pictured here is our very own “Tail-end Charlie”, one of our longest-serving and most senior members, this “boy from the valleys” was a rear gunner in Lancasters at the end of the Second World War.

This year’s parade on Sunday 12th November was sunny but cold with a fierce wind that blew the wreaths around. Well done to the conductor of the Grimsdyke Brass made who did a sterling job conducting at this event for the first time.
