The Harrow Apollo Male Choir is a registered charity No. 1117134. Since 2009 we have been involved in a variety of fundraising events where monies raised now exceed £170,000 for nearly 100 charities.
HAMC has throughout its history supported many charities both locally and nationally. It regularly supports St Luke’s Hospice, Kenton , the Bentley Priory Battle of Britain Trust in Stanmore, St Anselm’s Church restoration fund and the British Red Cross. For all fundraising events we stage we will seek to charge an appropriate and modest fee to cover our expenses.
The Full Choir are available for a variety of events. We can provide a customised choral programme from our varied repertoire for whatever kind of event you have in mind.
*All monies raised at events in which HAMC has participated and to which, HAMC has contributed, (e.g. from members’ donations, tour fines etc.) are included in the running total above, except where we have performed jointly with other choirs or organisations, when we calculate the proportional amount of the total raised.
Detailed records of every donation have been kept since 2009; some donations prior to this were recorded, and have therefore, been included in the running total above.
Once a year a performance is staged specifically to raise funds for HAMC; the proceeds from these annual concerts are not included in the running total above.
