Executive Officers/Trustees

The Executive Officers are elected annually by the members attending the AGM and are responsible for the governance, leadership and management of the organisation ensuring that it runs smoothly, enabling everyone to focus on the primary purpose of singing. The Trustees have legal responsibilities to ensure that the organisation fulfills the requirements of its charitable status.

Administrative Team

The Admin team supports the Officers/Trustees of the Choir in ensuring that the organisation runs smoothly and, along with the trustees and Music Director, form the Executive committee which meets at least once a quarter.

Concert Committee

The Concert committee meets regularly to plan and evaluate concerts. They feedback to the Executive committee.

Recruitment Team

The recruitment team promote the choir and its events and organise activities which encourage new members to join. They meet regularly and feedback to the Executive Committee.

Communication Team

The communication team are responsible for publisizing the choir as widely as possible. They ensure that all information published by HAMC is accurate and as up to date as possible, including the choir's website and social media accounts. They promote the Choir and its activities by liaising with the membership, the public, the press, sponsors, potential recruits, venue management, joint performers and booking enquirers. They work closely with the music, admin and recruitment teams

Pastoral Team

The Choir prides itself on being a caring organisation. The pastoral team ensure that everyone feels welcome and valued. They keep in contact with members and provide particular support in times of need. They ensure that Choristers' birthdays are marked with a rendition of Happy Birthday during the closest rehearsal and a card on the day.

Social Committee

The social committee meets informally and reports regularly to the Executive Committee. They organise two main social events per year: the Summer Barbecue (August) and a Dinner Dance (November).

Tour Committee

The Tour Committee is responsible for the planning, booking and smooth running of any tours that the choir undertakes. It meets only when upcoming tours are being planned and reports regularly to the Executive committee at these times.
