Tonic Choir in association with Bentley Prioriy present Flying Without Feathers

Celebrating the RAF centenary (1918-2018)The programme is in two parts.
Part 1 is a revival of Fighter Command and the Battle for Britain, which was first performed at the Museum in 2015. This  one act musical for chorus and narrator was commissioned for the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. With an original concept and words by Philip Barnett, and music by Bryan Kesselman, the  development of the piece was funded by Arts Council England and The Heritage Lottery Fund. The 2015 premiere received a 5 star review.

For Fighter Command we will be joined by children from St John’s C of E school (Stanmore). Once again the Narrator will be Nigel Grant Rogers.

Part 2 contains all new material, written by Philip and Bryan to commemorate and celebrate the RAF centenary.  RAF100 is a 25 minute programme which includes both musical and spoken items.

For RAF100, we will be joined by The Chiltern Singers and actor, Ruth Sillers.

Fighter Command  is a 30 minute promenade performance around the Museum. RAF100 is a 30 minute concert performance. There will be a 10 minute interval.

Due to the nature of the show, tickets are strictly limited. Previous Tonic Choir performances at Bentley Priory Museum have been sold out so please do not delay in buying your tickets.
