The choir are entering this event for the first time. We are entering two events:

2.30pm      A4  Choirs Open

3.45pm      A9  Non-competitive Class

1.30pm Latest arrival time for HAMC choristers

Directions to the venue:  PLEASE NOTE this is NOT St. Albans High School for Girls. STAGS, as it is commonly known. It is St Alban’s Girls’ School which is a maximum of 5 miles (15 minutes) from Junction 6 on the M1 or Junction 21a on the M25. Take the A405 towards St. Albans. At the roundabout with the Noke Hotel, stay LEFT onto Watford Road.
Follow this through Chiswell Green until coming to the roundabout by the King Harry pub. Take the
LEFT turn into King Harry Lane and go straight to the end of this road. Take the RIGHT turn at the
roundabout down Bluehouse Hill. Go straight over the next roundabout into Batchwood Drive and
follow this to a set of traffic lights (opposite Harvester) then turn LEFT onto Harpenden Road. Go up
the incline and STAGS is then situated at the RIGHT turn into Sandridgebury Lane. Use the main gates
and all parking is to the LEFT—a very large area including former fenced sports courts for any overflow.
Coaches should also use this area and only disabled drivers with Blue Badges should park in front of
Reception.

All performers and audience should follow signs to the Main Entrance and enter through Reception
where they will be met by members of the Festival Team.
Volunteers will meet singers in the Hall reception area and direct them to their allocated warm-up
room in nearby classrooms. It will not be possible to leave valuables in these rooms, so please hand coats etc to supporters.

Please be aware that this is a CASH ONLY event.
Entrance fee for audience is Adults £3 with no charge for children.
Programmes are £3. It is also planned to sell refreshments.

There is no access to a cash machine in the immediate vicinity.
